Remember A Charity Week is here again, this year taking place from 8 -14 September 2025.

As champions of legacy giving, we stand alongside the incredible charities, advisers, and campaign partners working to raise awareness of the life-changing impact that gifts in wills can have on good causes across the UK.

Legacy giving is more vital than ever, with over £4.5 billion[1] raised annually through gifts in wills, a figure that’s projected to more than double by 2050. Remember A Charity Week is the flagship campaign of the year for the Remember A Charity consortium, celebrating those who leave a legacy and inspiring more people to do the same.

This year’s theme celebrates the impact of legacies through a powerful new campaign titled “Thanks To…”, which highlights the real stories of individuals and communities transformed by legacy donations. These heartfelt messages of gratitude from beneficiaries across the country serve as a powerful reminder of how one person’s generosity can shape many lives.

Adding a familiar voice to the campaign is legendary broadcaster Johnny Ball, who joins as this year’s celebrity ambassador. Johnny will be sharing his reflections on the vital role charities play in society and encouraging people to consider including a gift to charity in their will, however big or small.

In an exciting new step for 2025, Remember A Charity has also teamed up with a diverse group of popular influencers to engage new and younger audiences. These include Amanda Lamb, TV property presenter and advocate for charitable causes; Jen Graham, widely known as Charity Shop Girl; and Lee Ridley, the inspirational comedian and Britain’s Got Talent winner, also known as Lost Voice Guy.

At Legacy Futures, we believe in the power of legacy giving to build a stronger, more compassionate future. We’re pleased to support this campaign and encourage everyone to take a moment this week to reflect on the causes they care about, and how their legacy could help them live on.
