Katherine has over 20 years of experience in legacy administration within the charity sector.
After college, Katherine discovered an advert for a Legacy Administration Assistant at the RSPCA — a role that unexpectedly sparked her long-term career in legacies. During her time at the RSPCA, she progressed through a range of increasingly senior positions and qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive specialising in Wills and Probate. She also holds the ILM Certificate in Charity Legacy Administration and the Diploma in Charity Legacy Management.
Katherine has extensive case management experience, having dealt with complex, sensitive and contentious matters over many years. She has overseen risk management for a team handling more than 2,500 cases, holding delegated responsibility for decision‑making and financial authority.
Katherine joined Legacy Link in 2026 and is passionate about helping charities maximise legacy income to support their vital work. Her holistic understanding of the legacy administration process allows her to provide practical, informed guidance to a wide range of organisations. She is committed to recognising the importance of legacy gifts and honouring the generosity of supporters who will never see the impact of their contributions.
Outside of work, Katherine enjoys spending time with her son — though the cold early mornings watching him play football are less of a highlight. She also loves reading, crime documentaries, spending time with friends, and baking when the mood strikes.
