CiCLA qualified and ILM Member, Wendy has been solely responsible for managing the legacy income at Arthritis Care, Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSHCC), Havens Hospices and the National Osteoporosis Society (NOS).
She has experience of managing many high value contentious cases, including a landmark case against the Belgian State, which ultimately an award to the charity concerned of over £1 million.
Wendy was also involved in legacy marketing at GOSHCC and was the legacy marketing manager at Havens Hospices and NOS, where she developed and implemented the first targeted legacy marketing strategy and pledger stewardship programme. At NOS over a 5 year period this led to an increase in legacy income from £1.3m to £2.9m and a 60% increase in the number of legacy pledgers.
Wendy’s background and knowledge of both facets of legacy fundraising means she can offer a combined approach, with a unique overview that integrates both marketing and administration.
