This year’s campaign builds on Remember A Charity’s “Be Remembered” theme, celebrating the unique stories and moments that make people unforgettable.
Through new advertising and activity across digital channels, the campaign aims to encourage more people to think about how they would like to be remembered and the impact they could leave behind.
Normalising conversations about gifts in wills remains an important part of growing legacy giving. By making these conversations more familiar, Remember A Charity Week helps more people understand the difference a gift in their will could make.
Research from Remember A Charity’s consumer benchmarking study highlights the continued potential for legacy giving. Among charity supporters aged 40 and over, 22% say they have included a charitable gift in their will, up from 14% in 2010.
A further 35% of supporters who have not yet done so say they are open to leaving a gift, demonstrating the opportunity for charities to continue engaging supporters around legacy giving.
