Naomi Orrey joined Legacy Link in 2018 and is passionate about using her 15 years of experience in legacy administration to make a positive difference to charities.

Naomi began working in charity legacy administration in 2003, having previously worked as a legal assistant and marketing co-ordinator in multi-disciplinary law firms. Naomi passed
the Institute of Legacy Management’s CiCLA with distinction, was awarded the ILM Professional of the Year in 2010 and 2016, and contributed to the ILM Good Practice Guidelines launched in 2017.

Naomi is an experienced legacy officer having managed complex estates involving assets in foreign jurisdictions, contentious cases including attending mediation and both the Court of
Appeal and Supreme Court. Her ability to see the bigger picture without losing sight of the detail has been invaluable in protecting and enhancing charity legacies and reputation. She
has been highly effective at managing a team, helping develop procedures and playing a key role in wider organisation projects, including building links with other teams, awareness of
the importance of legacy management and contributing to fundraising initiatives.

In her spare time Naomi has volunteered as Clerk to the Trustees of a local charity and is studying for a degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy.

Naomi Orrey

Legacy Consultant

Now that Naomi has officially finished with us, I just wanted to reiterate what a fantastic job she’s done during her time at the National Trust. Helen and I have both found her an absolute joy to work with, and can’t praise the standard of her work highly enough. She delivered all the tangible deliverables we agreed with a calmness and diplomacy that was admirable and has helped us take huge strides forward (both practically and culturally) within a relatively short timescale. Impressive. Kate Peden, The National Trust

Legacy Link can always be relied upon to provide additional resources whether it be short term or on a more long term basis. The consultants are professional and experts in legacy administration which means they can hit the ground running and take some of the pressure off the team, when help is needed the most. Brad Greis and Naomi Orrey were recently helping out at the BHF and both of them are incredibly professional and a pleasure to work with. Meenaxi Mawji, British Heart Foundation
