Hazel was admitted as a Solicitor over 30 years ago and has extensive experience of a wide range of issues which affect charity legacy administration including Will drafting, Probate, Scottish Executries, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection matters and applications to the Charity Commission.

She has a Masters Degree and is a Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP), being a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

She has worked in private practices as well as being an in-house Solicitor for Which? advising the public on Wills and Probate and wrote items for Which? magazine. Before becoming a Legacy Link Consultant, she worked as the Senior Legacy Officer for The Salvation Army, dealing with a large number of files plus the most complex and contentious cases.

She is frequently complimented on her excellent client care and interpersonal skills, as well as being a loyal and diligent worker with an eye for detail.  She enjoys keeping abreast of developments in Law and practice and researching issues and writing briefing notes etc.

She is passionate about charity legacy administration and constantly works to achieve the highest possible standards.
